parring, Beer, music, and wares... Huzzah!! Boom Island Brewing is hosting our 2nd annual Knights & Pints event, a full day of all-things-Medieval! Check out all of the fun to be had during this free event: - Special themed beers on tap with a featured beer flight option all day, plus red & white wine available for this day only! - Potter's Pasties & Smokestack Express food trucks will be serving up all the savory, mouthwatering eats. - 12-6pm - Themed vendors will be peddling their high-quality wares for all of ye old shopping needs. (Keep an eye on the discussion section for our vendor list and product sneak peeks!) - 3-6pm - Knights in full armor wailing on each other with steel weapons? You betcha!! The Flowers of Battle and Twin Cities Wyverns Armored Combat teams will be showcasing full-contact combat in a dynamic afternoon tourney, just like in the movie A Knight’s Tale! - 7-10pm - In the evening, the always-entertaining Gus the Bardic Troubadour will be taking the stage to bring us tavern songs and fantasy soundtracks, traditional Irish tunes, and sea shanties galore! Dressing up in your best medieval and fantasy costumes & apparel is encouraged, but not required. Ladies, Lords, Peasants, Squires, Jesters, Elves, Wizards, Hobbits, Knights, and more are all welcome! (Outside knights are not allowed into the armored combat list, sorry!) All ages welcome, though we recommend keeping dogs at home this day due to crowd, noise, and activity. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
